Slope in a Plot, Vastu Shastra
Slope in the Plot is an important factor for deciding the quality of the plot.
The slope in the plots is also instrumental in deciding the auspiciousness or the inauspiciousness of a piece of land. The four major direction the East the West the North and the South of the plot have two sub directions each. One gives favorable whereas the other gives unfavorable results. Hence the favorable direction should have the slope outside the plot.
1) The East has two sub-direction, the North-East and the South-East. The North-East direction gives auspicious effects whereas the South-East direction is inauspicious. Therefore the downward slope of the plot should be in the North-East side of the eastern direction.
2) The West has the North-West and the South-West sub directions. The North-West direction gives auspicious results whereas the South-West direction gives inauspicious results.
3) The North direction has two sub directions--- the north-east and the north-west. The North-East direction gives good consequences and the North-West direction gives bad results.
4) The southern side is divided into two subcategories-- South-East and South-West. Of these the South-East direction is auspicious while the South-West is inauspicious.
Inside the plot the downward slope in the East, the North and the North-East is quite beneficial. The slope in the South-East in the South and the North-West in the West gives good results but to a very small extent. The best results are obtained if the entire slope is in the North-East direction.
- If there is a downward slope in the East wealth, prosperity, status and success are acquired. If there is an upward slope in the East one has to face dishonor, failure and extinction of genealogy.
- A downward slope in the North-East direction leads to success, wealth, prosperity and peace of mind. However if there is an upward slope in the North-East direction it results in loss of wealth, failure in business and bad health.
- If there is a slope in the downward direction in the West one will be subject to difficulties, such as, illness, mental trouble, loss of wealth and others. On the other hand if there is an upward slope in the West success, prosperity, wealth and spiritual progress is acquired.
- A downward slope in the North-West direction will definitely result in like theft, enmity, ill-health etc. On the other hand, if there is an upward slope in the North-West direction it leads to success, wealth, travelling abroad, entry into politics etc.
- Positive results, such as, wealth, prosperity and success can be experienced if the downward slope is in the North. However, if there is an upward slope in this direction it leads to loss of wealth, mental, unrest, bankruptcy and others.
- A downward slope in the South results in danger like loss of wealth, ill-health, mental imbalance, ill health of women folk and so on. However if there is an upward slope it leads to fine health, wealth, mental satisfaction and other pleasures of life.
- If there is a downward slope in the South-East direction it leads to dangers like health issues, insolvency and other familial problems. Even if the upward slope in the South-East direction is less than that in the South-West direction and more than that in the North-West direction it is considered auspicious.
- A downward slope in the South-West direction it leads to diseases, addiction and untimely deaths. An upward slope in the same direction might prove beneficial and result in wealth, prosperity, children, promotion in service and gain of power.
